Last night on X, Democrats flooded the platform crying, “Noem must resign!” Outrage and emoji-filled posts followed when a Democratic senator from California was escorted out of Kristi Noem’s DHS press conference. Noem had been praising ICE for arresting illegal alien criminals and slamming local leaders for pushing socialist policies on the city. However, Padilla’s removal from the room after his stunt led to a full-blown crisis on X for the Democrats.

Yes, even though Israel had just launched a major strike on Iran, apparently that drama wasn’t worthy of their attention.

So what set their feeds ablaze? A theatrical interruption of Noem’s press conference by U.S. Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), who, you should know was appointed by Gavin Newsom. He burst into the fray, appeared to have lunged toward Noem, and got forcibly escorted out. He was reportedly told to back away repeatedly but dit not comply.

Cue the gasps! U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) demanded Noem’s resignation, saying that he was disgusted by the whole thing. Yes, it WAS disgusting, Adam, that the senator couldn’t act like a normal person at the door and present his credentials and ask to attend the press conference – or schedule his attendance ahead of time. But he did what he set out to do which was create a scene with political theater to go viral on social media. Mission accomplished. And now that everyone knows his name, he’s milking his five minutes of fame with a media tour.

Note that Schiff wasn’t the one who was the star of the show. Nope. That’s because he’s an elderly white dude. Instead, the Dems sent out the senator with Mexico-born parents to do their dirty work and get their viral moment. Optics are everything with the Dems, you know.

Schiff and his fellow Democrats don’t care much about the Iran-Israel crisis because they haven’t really figured out a way to twist it into an anti-Trump narrative. And it doesn’t get their crazy leftist supporters into the streets. Being anti-Trump and anti-ICE is what really drives their clicks and campaign cash right now. Iran? Please. It’s not exactly a fundraising goldmine.

So last night, the Democrats posted in perfect harmony about how “Noem must go!” Adam Schiff, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris (who?) and all the usual suspects were out en masse, all of them chiming in on their keyboards saying an investigation should commence.

Over on the other side, DHS officials dismissed the interrupting senator as political theater, noting that he had not identified himself initially or show a Senate pin. Yep, that was on purpose.

Padilla’s stunt earned him a swift exit – escorted out, forced to the ground, handcuffed, and detained by the Secret Service with help from the FBI. And rightfully so. Ever consider how many people are out there right now wishing harm on Trump (who the left refers to as “Ice Barbie,” Noem, Tom Homan, and Pete Hegseth? Security isn’t optional.

Padilla was released after the Secret Service positively identified him. Noem said she later met with the senator in a private room for about 15 minutes and exchanged phone numbers (bad idea) but she called his stunt “ridiculous” and “inappropriate” – which pretty much describes most things that Democrats do.

Meanwhile, Israel was actively attacking Iran. But why waste good outrage on actual news?
